1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By accessing or using GetFvid.to ('Service'), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy and DMCA Policy. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you are prohibited from using the Service.

You represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the full legal authority and capacity to enter into these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Nature of Service & Intermediary Role

GetFvid is a client-side link resolution and locator utility. Our tool parses publicly accessible URLs provided by the user to identify underlying media streams stored on Facebook's content delivery networks. GetFvid functions strictly as a technical intermediary and search tool.

GetFvid does not host, upload, index, broadcast, store, or cache video or audio files on our infrastructure. All downloads occur directly between Facebook's servers and the user's personal device. We do not exercise editorial control over the media content produced, uploaded, or transmitted by Facebook users.

3. Permitted Personal Use & Copyright Responsibilities

GetFvid is provided exclusively for personal, private, and non-commercial archiving and offline viewing (such as personal study, fair-use research, or backup copies of media you have uploaded). Any commercial exploitation, public rebroadcast, or monetized redistribution of downloaded content is strictly prohibited.

You bear full legal responsibility for ensuring that your download and subsequent use of any media complies with applicable copyright laws, intellectual property rights, and Facebook's Terms of Service. You must only download media that you own, have created, or for which you have received express license or legal permission from the copyright owner.

GetFvid expressly disclaims any liability for copyright infringement committed by users. Downloading a video does not confer any ownership or copyright license to you.

4. Prohibited Conduct & Misuse

You agree not to misuse the Service or assist others in doing so. Specifically, you agree not to: (a) deploy automated crawlers, scrapers, bots, or unauthorized scripts to extract data or initiate mass download requests; (b) attempt to circumvent rate limiters, anti-bot mechanisms, or security barriers; (c) launch denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or intentionally overload our server infrastructure.

You further agree not to use the Service: (a) for any unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent purpose; (b) to download materials that infringe upon patents, trademarks, trade secrets, or copyrights of any party; or (c) to decompile, reverse-engineer, or disassemble any part of our website codebase.

5. DMCA Safe Harbor & Copyright Complaints

GetFvid respects the intellectual property rights of creators and operates in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). Because GetFvid does not host or store files, we cannot delete content from Facebook's servers.

However, copyright holders or authorized representatives may request that specific URLs be blacklisted from our link parsing engine. To submit a takedown request, send an email to support@getfvid.to including: identification of the copyrighted work, the specific Facebook URL, proof of authorization or ownership, and your contact details.

Upon receipt of a valid and verifiable notice, our technical team will promptly block the designated URL from being resolved or processed on GetFvid.

6. Third-Party Advertisements & Affiliates

GetFvid displays third-party advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense and other programmatic advertising networks, to maintain our free web service. We do not endorse, sponsor, or assume responsibility for the products, services, or claims made in third-party advertisements.

Any interactions, purchases, or agreements between you and an advertiser found on or through our website are solely between you and that third party. GetFvid is not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from dealings with external advertisers.

7. External Links & Third-Party Services

Our website may include links to external websites, third-party software, or online resources. These links are provided solely for reference and user convenience. We have no control over the content, safety, or policies of third-party platforms.

Visiting external sites is done entirely at your own risk. GetFvid assumes no liability for damages or issues arising from your use of third-party websites or services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, GetFvid disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted uptime.

We make no warranty that: (a) the Service will meet your specific requirements; (b) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; or (c) link extraction will always succeed, as platform updates by Facebook may impact technical parsing capabilities without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall GetFvid, its owners, operators, affiliates, agents, or licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, profits, goodwill, or system downtime) arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

You acknowledge that your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the Service is to discontinue using GetFvid.to.

We reserve the right, without prior notice and at our sole discretion, to terminate or restrict your access to the Service, or block specific IP addresses or ranges, if you breach these Terms of Service or engage in abusive or malicious behavior.

All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
